Dr. Ehab Morsy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Suez Canal University. Dr. Morsy received his master’s degree in Computational Linear Algebra from Suez Canal University, in 2002. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Informatics (Approximation Algorithms) from Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan, in 2009. He teaches Graduate and undergraduate courses related to Optimization Algorithms, Discrete Optimization, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Data Structure, Graph Algorithms, and Distributed Algorithms.
The book covers a wide range of optimization algorithms, including classical optimization techniques, metaheuristic optimization algorithms, swarm intelligence algorithms, nature-inspired optimization algorithms, hybrid and ensemble optimization algorithms, optimization in machine learning and artificial intelligence, applications of optimization algorithms in various fields, and recent advances and future directions in optimization research.
